Maria-Gwen joined the team as a student in 2022 and then as an articling student in 2023. She was sworn in during the summer of 2023, and focuses her practice on civil, real estate and construction law.

 

Passionate about the law, Maria-Gwen has been studying it since college, with a diploma in paralegal techniques. For several years, she worked as a legal assistant and paralegal. Maria-Gwen went on to study law at the Université de Sherbrooke, where she completed her Bachelor of Laws in the cooperative program.

 

Throughout her university career, Maria-Gwen has distinguished herself by her academic excellence. In November 2022, she received the Albert-Leblanc Medal and the Dean's Award in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership and achievements throughout her university career. She also received the Prix du Barreau du Québec as the top-ranked student among those intending to take up the Bar at the end of their undergraduate studies.

 

Maria-Gwen stands out for her organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, determination and humility.
